How to fix stringers (occasional blades of uncut grass) with my Scag Power Equipment Magnum III?

If you notice occasional blades of uncut grass the width of the deck while using your Scag Power Equipment Lawn Mower, several factors could be responsible. It might be due to low engine RPM, excessive ground speed, wet grass, dull or incorrectly sharpened blades, or a deck plugged with grass accumulation, or belts slipping. To resolve this, run the engine at full 3600 RPM, slow down to adjust for conditions, cut grass after it has dried out, sharpen the blades, and clean the underside of the deck, adjusting belt tensions as needed.
