Service and maintenance of the Scan Bed Alpha may only be performed by personnel
who have received the necessary instruction or training.

Check of suspension of motors
Inspection of weldings
Check of the siderail’s fixing and
locking/movement
Check of wheel brakes
Check of height adjustment motors
Check of backrest and thigh section’s motor
Check that wires and plugs are undamaged
Check of rastofix and its function
Damaged coating repaired
Lubrication is completed:
-points of rotation in mattress support
-all of the motors’ tension rods
-all bearing for motors and rastofix
fittings
Lubricate with medically clean oil, e.g.
SCAN-WO-50 or similar
A service contract can be arranged by contacting Scan Mobility’s head office.
