Why do I have digital cable and after scanning for channels I got nothing on my Sceptre HDTV?
    • S
      shendersonSep 5, 2025
Your Sceptre HDTV does not support QAM. You need a cable box for the display to work correctly. Ensure you have an HDMI cable connected from the cable box to the display. Then, turn on both the display and cable box, and set your display’s source to HDMI.

Why can't my Sceptre HDTV receive sufficient channels through the ATSC/NTSC tuner?
    • M
      Melissa HarveyAug 25, 2025
If your Sceptre HDTV isn't receiving enough channels, it might be due to a weak tuner signal (less than 65%). Try changing the direction of your antenna and then rescan for channels. If you're using cable, contact your cable company to inquire about the signal strength of your local cable.

If you're getting a picture but no sound on your Sceptre HDTV, first check that the audio cable is securely connected. Then, readjust the volume using the remote control. Also, ensure that the display’s tuner signal is at least 65%.

Why my cell phone does not work when I connect MHL cable to my Sceptre UHD TV?
    • G
      Gerald SuarezSep 12, 2025
If your cell phone does not work when you connect the MHL cable to it and your Sceptre UHD TV, ensure you are connected to HDMI1, as only HDMI1 supports MHL. Also, verify you are using the correct MHL cable. If issues persist, consult your cell phone manufacturer for compatibility information.

Why does my Sceptre UHD TV have pixels that are always displaying the same color?
    • J
      Jennifer NicholsSep 23, 2025
If your Sceptre UHD TV has pixels that are always displaying the same color, be aware that displays are manufactured using extremely high precision technology, however, sometimes some pixels of your display may not display. Pixel defects within industry specifications are inherent to this type of product and do not constitute a defective product.
