15. Troubleshooting
The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your machine failing to work
properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.
Fault Possible cause Remedy
Motor does not run Connection cable defective Check the connection cable and replace it, if
required.
Switch defective Arrange for inspection and repair of the device
by a specialist
Motor running but screen
drum does not turn
Motor belt defective or tension too
low
Check the motor belt, tighten or replace it.
Screen drum belt defective or
tension too low
Check the sieve drum belt, tighten or replace it.
Screening material is not fully
screened
Screening material clumping and/or
too moist
Break up the sievings and/or wait for them to
be drier.
Screen drum angle too steep Reduce the angle of the screen drum
