Fault Possible cause Remedy
Motor does not run
Check whether the plug is plugged in. Plug the mains plug back in to the socket.
Check whether there is power to the socket. Call an electrician.
Check whether the vacuum cleaner on/o
switch is switched on.
Switch the on/o switch on.
Reduced vacuuming
power
Is the brush blocked?
Switch the vacuum cleaner o to remove the
blockages.
Is the dust bag full of dust? Remove and empty the dust bag.
Is the lter full of dust? Remove and empty the lter.
