How to Adjust Air Pressure
Purpose
This guide will show how to adjust air pressure for the Sci-Print VX2/VXL. It is intended
for an end user. It is important to make sure you have the correct air pressure- if too high
it may crush or break the tube, and if set too low it will not grip the tube tight enough.
There are 3 different types of air pressure that will be explained below- gripper air
pressure, roller close pressure, and peel blow pressure.
For the correct air pressure setting for your tube, please contact Scinomix Service at 314-
298-9800 ext. 208.

Instructions
Gripper Air Pressure- this air pressure controls the strength of the gripper and can be
controlled by the tiny knob inside of the VX2/VXL located on the underside of the upper
gantry.
1. The air pressure gauge is located on the underside of the upper gantry
2. Tighten this knob by turning it to the right to increase the air pressure for the
grippers so that the grip becomes tighter
