What to do if SCORPION GPS LEDs are flashing but no text is received?

If the LEDs on your SCORPION GPS are flashing but you're not receiving any text messages, make sure the ignition is turned on and the GPS antenna has a clear view of the sky. Cover the green LED and count the flashes on the red LED; there should be 3 flashes. Repeat this for the green LED, where ideally there should be no more than 15 flashes and no less than 3. For proper commissioning, the unit needs 3 red flashes and a green flash count (e.g., 7 flashes equals 7 satellites).
