5996 BRACKETS
2007-UP LINCOLN NAVIGATOR
W/ NAVIGATION
RADIO REMOVAL:
1. Using a panel removal tool, unsnap shifter trim
bezel around shifter.
2. Remove (2) 7mm screws at bottom of panel
3. Using a panel removal tool, unsnap radio trim
panel unplug harness and remove
4. Remove (4) 7mm screws securing the radio.
USE 5996 BRACKETS WITH MOUNTING TABS ON 6603 MOUNTING PANEL FOR INSTALLATION.

2003-06 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR
RADIO REMOVAL:
1. Open the center console door and remove (1) push-pin
type fastener from power window switch panel. Unsnap,
unplug and remove panel.
2. Extract (2) 7mm hex screws from back of gear shift/cup
holder panel, unsnap and lift panel out of the way.
3. Extract (2) 7mm hex screws from below ashtray.
4. Use a panel removal tool to carefully unsnap
and remove the entire radio-A/C control center
dash bezel, unplug and remove.
5. Extract (2) 7mm hex screws from below stereo,
unplug and remove stereo.
2003-05 LINCOLN AVIATOR
RADIO REMOVAL:
1. Use a panel removal tool to carefully unsnap and
remove the center vent/grille panel above radio.
2. Extract (2) 7mm hex screws from below center panel.
3. Use a panel removal tool to carefully unsnap and remove
radio trim bezel/ with cover door (one piece).
4. Extract (2) 7mm hex screws from below stereo,
unplug and remove stereo.
1999-03 FORD WINDSTAR
2001-02 MERCURY COUGAR
RADIO REMOVAL:
1. Use Ford DIN removal tool to release clips on the sides
of the factory stereo, lift away, disconnect and remove.
Scosche DT-1 DIN Removal Tools available separately.
“A” MOUNTING TABS (TOP & BOTTOM)
Pestañas montaje “A” (Superior e inferior)

USE “A” MOUNTING TABS. CUT OFF THE REMAINING TABS
AND DISCARD.
Usar las pestañas “A”. Cortar las pestañas restantes y descartarlas.
USE 6617/6618 SPACERS WITH SHADED MOUNTING TABS ON 6604 MOUNTING PANEL FOR INSTALLATION.
