Service Diagnosis
• No ice, freezes, harvest begins but evaporator
does not defrost
– Hot gas valve not opening
– Check coil, replace if open
– Check voltage to coil, if 115 volts, and coil is not
open, hot gas valve is stuck and must be replaced.
