5.0 MAINTENANCE
•
Check and Clean Fan Filter on back of unit-It is important that this filter be
kept
free from dirt. Heat build-up could affect the unit over time.
•
Check and Clean Air Vents on the left side of the Basket Compartment-
These
holes vent the air during the drying cycle. If they become full of lint, drying times
will increase and shrinkage results could be affected.
•
Check Float Switch-The float switch is located inside the Basket Compartment
at the back right corner. Make sure that there are no pieces of
thread or other
material stopping the movement of the float mechanism.
•
Check Drain-Run the Manual Operation and Fill with water. Drain the water out
and check to make sure the water flows freely and no water is left inside the tank.
At the end of the Drain operation, make sure no water has flowed back into the
tank as this might indicate a problem somewhere in the drain-line.
