9. Troubleshooting
Probable causes Remedial action
Fuel level too low Fill up with fuel
The fuel tap is closed Open the fuel tap
Fuel supply blocked or leaking Have the system repaired
Air filter clogged Clean the air filter
Control at "О"
Switch the control to "I"
Faulty spark plug Replace the spark plug
The pump unit
will not start
Turbine is clogged Remove and clean
Probable causes Remedial action
Blocked ventilation inlets Clean the air inlet and outlet guards
The engine cuts
out
Oil cut-out triggered Check that there are no leaks and top up the level
Probable causes Remedial action
Air is entering at the suction side Check the path on the suction side
Loss of engine power Have the engine checked
Damage to mechanical seal Have the seal replaced
Suction side is too high Lower the operating height
Pipe is too long or kinked Shorten or straighten out the pipe
Liquid is leaking in the ducts Seal the leak
Turbine is clogged Remove and clean
The pump volume
is low
Turbine is worn Have the pump checked
Probable causes Remedial action
Air is entering at the suction side Check the path on the suction side
Not enough water in the pump body Fill correctly
Drain plug is not properly tightened Tighten the plug correctly
Engine not rotating correctly Have the engine checked
Automatic

Air is entering through the mechanical seal Have the seal replaced
