One-Way Air Valve
Locate the four white
valves that come in a bag
packed with the boat.
This bag also contains the
Inflation Monitor which
will be needed later.
A42 Foot Pump.
Unravel the hose and push
down on the top & bottom
to release the black clip.
There are 4 air chambers
on the boat - 1 for the floor
and 3 for the sides which
are numbered 1-3. Both
seats have 1
chamber each.
Install valves to each valve
base. Stretch the retainer
ring over the valve base
then screw the valve cape
into the base. Unscrew
the outer cap to reveal the
ination port.
Tip: Stretch the retainer ring
with your ngers for easier
installation.
Insert the larger end of the
wide end adapter into the
hose and twist it to lock in
place.
Tip: The wide ended
adapter works on every
valve on the SE9 and the
seats.
Insert the hose into the
“INFLATE” port.
Note: Use the “DEFLATE”
port when packing the
kayak as compactly as
possible is needed.

A clear plastic “Ination Monitor” gauge is included
for chambers 1 and 3. ese chambers are fully inated
when the 1-10 numbered lines printed on the boat in
blue, match the black
1-10 lines on the
Ination Monitor.

(PVC) stretches as it is
inated
• Avoid over-stretch-
ing, always use the
monitor
• Do not use the
circular lines, match
the scale lines 0 through 10.
• A 10 cm (4”) ruler can be used as a substitute.
