7. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
 WARNING! Petrol is highly flammable and petrol vapour is explosive. DO NOT permit smoking, naked flames, sparks or heat
in the vicinity when handling petrol. Avoid spilling petrol onto a hot engine. Comply with all laws regulating storage and
handling of fuels.
7.1 TRANSPORTATION
7.1.1 DO NOT overfill the fuel tank.
7.1.2 DO NOT operate the generator whilst it is inside a vehicle. Remove it from the vehicle and operate it in a well-ventilated area.
7.1.3 To prevent fuel spillage during transportation, the generator should be secured in an upright position.
7.2 STORAGE
7.2.1 Prior to storing the generator for a prolonged period, ensure that the storage area is free of excessive humidity and dust.
7.2.2 Drain the fuel completely from the tank into an approved container.

Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)
into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.
WEEE Regulations
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed
of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
