Th i s engine is equ ipped w ith a paper element and o
polyurethane precleaner that must be removed, clean-
ed and oiled ever y 25 hours of operation, or more
under e xtremely dusty conditions.

1. To clean pre-cleaner wash in water and detergent
r efe r ri ng to F i gure 14. Remove excess water by
squeezing like a sponge and allow to dry tho -
roughly. Di stribute th ree tablespoons of SAE 30
engine o il evenly around the pre-cleaner. Knead
into and wring excess oil from pre-cleaner.
2. Depending on conditions in which the tractor is
operating, the i nn er paper element should be re-
placed whenever it becomes excessively dirty.
