the24-hourhandbysettingittothetimeoftheareayoucurrentlylive. 

･Forinstance,bysettingthe24-hourhandtoJapantime,evenifyousetthehourandminute
handstodisplaythetimeoftheplaceyouarestayingwhiletravelingabroad,youcaneasily
checkthetimeinJapanwiththe24-hourhandwhichisquiteconvenient.ThetimeinJapanin
suchacasemaybereferredtoas"hometime"andthistermwillbeusedinthefollowingpart
