8.5.3. Do Not Disturb
The user can set up and cancel the Do Not Disturb service in the following way.
“DND” label appears on the screen when Do Not Disturb service is active.
A user placed in the “Do Not Disturb” state, cannot be called, but can perform normal outgoing telephone
traffic, including the possibility to book a call completion upon finding a line/ user busy; by lifting the
handset, the difference consists of the tone: confirmation tone can be heard instead of dialling tone.
An enabled user can call a user placed in the “Do Not Disturb” state, by overriding the block imposed on
calls.
To: You have to:
Activate Do Not Disturb
Setting
1. press softkey SERVICES
2. select DO NOT DISTURB
3. confirm with softkey SELECT
4. with UP and DOWN arrows select ACTIVE
5. press softkey SELECT to send to the system the new setting and
wait for the result of the operation on the phone screen
6. to return to the main menu, press softkey BACK and EXIT or wait
until the timer elapses
Cancel
1. repeat from step 1. to 3. above described
2. select NOT ACTIVE with UP and Down arrows
3. press softkey SELECT to send to the system the new setting and
wait for the result of the operation on the phone screen
4. to return to the main menu, press softkey BACK and EXIT or wait
until the timer elapses
