BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Take the appliance and its accessories out of the packaging materials.
2. Thoroughly clean all parts (beater, kneading attachments and the rotating bowl) that come into
contact with food in hot water using kitchen detergent. Then rinse them with drinking water and
dry thoroughly with a fine wiping cloth.
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
1. Select the type of attachment you wish to use. Insert the attachment with the cog wheel into the
right opening on the underside of the motor unit. Press it into the motor unit until it clicks into the
safe position. In the same way insert the second attachment into the left opening.
Caution:
Do not combine the beaters and the kneading attachments. Only use the same type of
attachments at the same time.
2. Press the button 0 to release the lock on the arm and using the other hand tilt out the arm 9.
3. Insert the bowl 5 into the stand 6.
4. Press the button 0 and tilt down the arm 9 into the horizontal position.
5. Insert the motor unit 7 with the inserted attachments on to the tilting arm 9 and lightly push
towards the arm until you hear a click. The motor unit is securely attached to the arm when it is not
possible to lift it independently.
Note:
The beater can be used independently without the stand. In such a case setup the appliance
according to the instructions in point 1 and continue to chapter Operating the Appliance. It will
be necessary to hold the motor unit in your hand during operation.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place ingredients into the bowl 5.
2. Connect the power cord of the motor unit 7 to an electrical power socket. Using the switch 2 set
the desired speed in the range of 1–5. The TURBO pulse button 1 is used for a short increase to
maximum speed. The bowl on the stand rotates during operation. This ensures that ingredients
are evenly mixed.
Note:
To prevent ingredients from splattering out of the bowl, select an initial speed level of 1 or 2.
The TURBO button is will not work if the switch 2 is set to position 0.
Caution:
Do not hold down the TURBO pulse button for longer than a minute. The appliance must
be stopped for several minutes after it has been running continuously for 5 minutes.
