IRONING WITH STEAM
1. Filling the water tank
1.1 Water type that may be used
This steam iron is equipped with a special Anti-Calc filter, which softens the water in the tank and
prevents the formation of limescale deposits inside the steam chamber. The filter is permanent and
it is not necessary to replace it.
For filling the tank A12 use water that has a soft to medium-hard water hardness level (up to
14 °dH / 2.5 mmol/l). If water in your area is particularly hard, use 1 part of distilled water and 1 part
of tap water.
Attention:
Do not fill the tank with distilled water only or water containing chemical additives,
fragrances or limescale removers.
1.2 Filling the tank
Check that the iron is disconnected from the power socket.
Set the output steam regulator A5 to the minimum level.
Flip open the filling opening cap on the water tank A6.
Tilt the iron backwards and fill tank A12 with water. Ensure that the water level does not exceed
the maximum water level mark.
Close shut the filling opening cap on the water tank A6. Place the iron on a stable, even surface in
a vertical position.
