8.2 Description of options
8.2.1 AC reactor
The input AC reactor can suppress the higher harmonics of the
inverter input current and obviously improve the power factor. It is
recommended to adopt it in following cases:
① The ratio of the power supply capacity to the inverter capacity is
greater than 10:1.
② A thyristor device or a power factor compensator is connected to
the same power supply.
③ The voltage unbalance of the 3-phase power is great（≥3%）.
④ The power factor of the input side is required to improve. It can be
increased to 0.75~0.85.
