8.2.2 Radio noise filter
The radio noise filter is used for suppressing the electromagnetic
interference generated by the inverter, the external radio
interference, and the transient shock & surge interference with the
inverter.
The radio noise filter should be adopted in following cases:
The requirement of anti-radio interference is highly emphasized.
Meeting CE, UL and CSA standards is required.
There are devices with poor anti-interference ability around the
inverter.
The filter should be located as close as possible to the inverter, with
the connecting wire(twisted pair) as short as possible.
8.2.3 Braking unit & braking resistor
Braking unit and braking resistor are used to absorb the regenerative
energy during the motor braking. A braking resistor is generally
enough to meet the requirement. If the motor capacity is large, a
braking resistor and a braking unit can be used together to improve
the braking ability.
