Why do Senor Tech Touch terminals show 'Invalid configuration information' message?
    • L
      Lori ConradSep 12, 2025
If your Senor Tech Touch terminals display an 'Invalid configuration information' message or show incorrect memory amounts, run the CMOS Setup utility. Ensure the amount of base memory defined by the setup utility is correct and matches the actual system memory. If the problem persists, turn off the Upper Part, unplug the power cord, and reseat the SIMM RAM modules on the motherboard. If the issue continues, remove each SIMM and inspect for damage, as a SIMM may be defective.

If your Senor Tech Touch terminals beep four or seven times and the LCD doesn't work, follow the same steps as for continuous beeping: For wireless I/R keyboard, move keyboard away from Upper Part, if problem is fixed, check for stuck keys or low batteries in the keyboard. For wired keyboard unplug the keyboard, if problem is fixed check for stuck keys on the keyboard. If problem was not fixed, turn off the Upper Part, unplug the power cord and remove the covers to gain access to the motherboard's SIMM RAM modules. Carefully reseat the modules.
