This document is the user manual for the SetPower RV45S portable refrigerator/freezer.
Function Description
The SetPower RV45S is a portable refrigerator/freezer designed for both household and mobile applications. It can refrigerate or freeze food and is suitable for various environments such as staff kitchen areas, farmhouses, hotels, motels, bed and breakfast establishments, and catering. The device is equipped with a multi-level battery monitor to protect vehicle batteries from excessive discharge when connected to a 12/24V supply. It features an electronic control system that prevents polarity reversal and automatically switches off if the power source voltage is insufficient. The cooling system is designed to operate correctly on angles up to 30 degrees for a maximum of four hours of continuous operation.

Usage Features
- Installation: Place the unit in a dry place, protected from splashing water and direct heat sources. Ensure adequate airflow around the condenser.
- Power Connection: Can be operated with 12V/24V DC (car cigarette lighter or battery) or 110-120V AC (via adapter).
- Memory Function: The refrigerator automatically turns on after reconnecting power if not actively turned off.
- Temperature Control: The digital display shows the current internal cabinet temperature. Users can adjust the desired temperature using the control panel. The flashed number indicates the set temperature, while a non-flashing number indicates the actual temperature.
- Temperature Conversion: Easily switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit by pressing and holding the "up" and "SET" buttons simultaneously in the compressor speed area.
- ECO/MAX Function: This feature allows users to select between two compressor speeds:
- ECO (MIN): Slowed compressor speed for increased operating efficiency.
- MAX: Increased compressor speed for quicker cool-down times.
- Battery Monitor: A multi-level battery monitor (LOW, MID, HIGH) protects the vehicle battery from excessive discharge. The desired setting can be selected by pressing and holding the "SET" button.
- Low Voltage Protection: The device automatically switches off if the power source voltage falls below the set Battery Monitor cut-out level and switches back on when the voltage reaches the cut-in level.
- Power Cable: Use only the supplied 3.5m DC power cable. For DC extension cables, a minimum 6mm dia. (AWG11) 4.58mm² Twin Sheath Two Core cable with 15A inline fuse protection is recommended.
- Safety: Do not store explosive substances, use near direct heat, or expose to rain. Do not place hot products or food (above 50°F) directly into the cooler.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the inside and outside of the refrigerator with warm water and a neutral detergent. Rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Avoid using special glass/mirror cleaning products, liquid/powder/spray detergents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive products.
- Defrosting: If ice forms on the internal walls or lid, defrost the appliance.
- Storage: If not using the refrigerator, clean it well inside and leave the door ajar to ventilate the interior.
- Troubleshooting: Before contacting after-sales service, check the feeding voltage, connections, polarities, airing grids, proximity to heat sources, and the feeding line fuse.
- Power Disconnection: Always disconnect the power cable from the plug before carrying out any maintenance.
- General: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless supervised. Children should not play with or clean the appliance without supervision.
