1.8 In case of a defective appliance
A defective appliance can cause material damage and injury:
• Check the appliance for damage each time before use. If you notice any kind
of damage, please contact the manufacturers or their customer service, or
similarly qualifi ed personnel. Do not operate if the appliance or any of the
accessory parts are defective.
• If the power cord of the unit shows any sign of damage, it must be replaced by
the manufacturers or their customer service to avoid any danger.
• The unit does not contain any components that can be serviced or repaired at
home. Repairs must only carried out by SEVERIN Service. The contact details
can be found in the appendix to this manual.
