When the soup programme is used, depending
on the type, quantity and original temperature of
the ingredients, the soup may be ready before the
programme has nished. If an excessive amount of
steam or food is emitted from the measuring cup in
the lid, the programme should be stopped immediate-
ly. If it is left to
run, soup may be forced out of the container and run
down the outside of the appliance.
Sauce program
Press the program
key four times, then
press the
ON/OFF key
The blender briey blends at high speed and stops
for 1 sec. This cycle is repeated 5 times. The blender
then continues at full speed up to the end of the
program.
Ideal blending process for preparing sauces,
dressings, dips and pastes.

Program for grind-
ing coffee or nuts
Press the program
key ve times, then
press the
ON/OFF key
The blender grinds twice at full speed with a brief
pause in between. The blender then grinds at full
speed up to the end of the program. Run this pro-
gram twice in succession in order to grind to a ner
degree.
Ideal for grinding coffee beans and nuts.

Ice crushing
program
Press the program
key six times, then
press the
ON/OFF key
The blender crushes the ice cubes at full speed and
then stop the crushing process for a pause. This
procedure is repeated up to the end of the program.
Ideal for crushing ice cubes into small pieces.
30 sec.
5 Cleaning and care
Clean the appliance before using it for the rst time.
Also clean the appliance immediately after use.

– Only use cleaning agents that are
suitable for use with foodstuffs to
clean the individual parts.
CAUTION!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive clean-
ing agents or utensils that will cause sur-
faces to become scratched. The parts of
the blender are NOT dishwasher proof.
