Problem Possible causes Solution
Machine does not turn on.
Indicator light ❾ off.
Machine not connected to the
mains.
Electrical problem.
Connect the machine to the mains;
Make sure that the rating values
match the mains rating.
The machine makes a strange
noise.
Check that there is water in the tank
❿.
Machine does not dispense.
Make sure that the handle ❶ is
totally closed and check the water
level in the tank ❿.
The light are on but no coffee
comes out.
The capsule inserted may be faulty.
Wait for a few seconds than try again
with a new capsule.
Coffee is dispensed
only in drops or not correctly
dispensed.
Coffee dispenser blocked. Carry out a washing cycle for the cof-
fee dispenser.
Water spills out the drops collec-
tion pan.
High water level in the pan. Empty the pan and resume regular
operation.
There are signs of water at the
bottom of machine.
Make sure that the tank ❿ has been
filled correctly into position.
A slight hiss can be heard after
the coffee has been released.
This is not a fault, but normal setting
of the pressure control valve.
Machine blocked.
The capsule insertion handle will
not open.
Carry out a pour operation while
the machine is empty.
