10. CHAINSAW MAINTENANCE (PERIODICALLY)
1. Muffler body, muffler cover and baffle should be com-
bined correctly.
2. Be sure the gasket is not broken. If it is broken, replace
with a new one.
3. After making a test run, re-tighten the screw (TORQUE:
6.9-7.8 N.m./70-80 kg-cm)
Do not touch the muffler right after the
engine has stopped, to prevent burns and
injury.
If carbon clogs the muffler, it will cause poor output and
trouble starting. After every 100 hours of use, check and clean
inside the muffler.

• The cut path does not go straight.
• Vibration increases.
• Fuel consumption increases.
