• Even when external equipment is connected using an HDMI-
certified cable . an audio cable connection may be requ ir ed
depend i ng on the type of equipment and the med ia being
played back. In this case . in addit i on to connecting an HDMI-
certified cable to the HDMI IN 3 terminal , connect a 0 3.5 mm
stereo minijack cable to the AUDIO IN terminal and set • Aud io
Select"
to "HDMI•Analog".

• When connecting a PC via an HDMI-certi fied cab le, check the
fol l owing :
- Is
the audio output of the PC configured correctly? Check the
audio output sett ings and output aud io format in Sound
Properties
on the PC .
The audio fo r mats compat i ble with this TV are PCM. Dolby
Digital. With other formats, aud io cannot be output.
- Depending on the board. only video si gnals may be output. In
th is case. in addit i on to connecting an HDMI-certifi ed cable to
the HDM I IN 3 terminal connect a 0 3.5 mm stereo minijack
cable to the AUDIO IN te rminal and set "Audio Sel ect" to
"HDMI•Analog".
