Creating a disc name
1. Insert a recorded MiniDisc and cancel the group mode.
2. Press the
button to display “ ”.

Press the MENU button.
4. Select "NAME" by pressing the
or button and
press the MENU button.

When "DISC NAME" appears, press the MENU button.
You can enter characters now.
6. Press the DISP button to select the type of characters.

7. Select a character by pressing the

press the MENU button.
Repeat the operation to enter more characters.
8. After entering all characters, hold down the MENU button for
2 seconds or more. The disc name is stored.
Creating a group name
1. Insert a group-recorded MiniDisc.
2. In the stop mode, press the GROUP button.
"GR" will flash.
3. Within 5 seconds, select the group to be named by pressing
the or button.
4.
Press the MENU button.
5. Select "NAME" by pressing the
or button and
press the MENU button.
6. When "GROUP NAME" appears, press the MENU button.
You can enter characters now.
