The exhaust filter consists of an electrostatic HEPA Type filter. (EC-S5170) HEPA
Filter (EC-T5180 series)
The HEPA Type filter should be replaced at least every 10 months to maintain efficient
filtration. (EC-S5170)
HEPA Filter(EC-T5180 series) can be washed with running water.

Remove the dirt compartment.

REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Unscrew the center screw. (Fig.37)
Lift the exhaust filter case.(Fig.38)
Lift the lamp cover. (Fig.37)
At the botton of the case HEPA type filter (EC-
S5170) or HEPA filter(EC-T5180) is placed.
Replace the filter as before and set the
filter case and lamp cover.
Secure the center screw.

HEPA Filter (EC-T5180 series) can be washed
with running water.
After washing it, please dry completely in the air.
Do not use hair dryer or other heating machine.
