12 Battery Replacement
Be sure to replace the battery once a year. (Use the battery replacement date label
as a reminder when to replace the battery.) However, when the display appears
faint and is difficult to read within one year, the battery is exhausted. Replace it
immediately with a new battery.
Loss or alteration of stored data may occur when replacing the battery. Be sure to
keep a written record of all important data.
install a new lithium battery (CR2016) following the procedure debe below.
Be sure to complete steps [3] to [4] within one minute.
[1] Press to turn the power off.
[2] Remove the screw from the battery cover on the back of the EL-6081 and
remove the battery cover. (Fig. 1)
Remove the old battery with a ball-point pen or similar object. (Fig. 2)
[4] Instali the new battery with the plus (®) side up, first hooking it under the tab.
