MELT/SOFTEN/WARM
The Melt/Soften/Warm feature automatically sets the correct
heating time and microwave power level for melting, softening
and warming foods shown in the chart below.
There are two quantity options for each food item. To select
between the two quantities, touch the same number pad as used
to select the food number one time for the smaller quantity or
two times for the larger quantity.
To melt, soften or warm other quantities or other foods, heat
ma nua l ly.
1 Touch the More Menus pad.
2 See the Menu Label. Select the desired food by touching the
number pad.
3 Touch the same number pad one more time for the smaller
quantity or two more times for the larger quantity.
4 Touch the START/+30 SEC pad.

Melt Place food in a microwave-safe glass dish and cover with plastic wrap.
1 Butter 2 tbsp

• Touch the More Menus pad then touch the number 1 pad for Butter. To select quantity, touch
the number 1 pad once for 2 tablespoons or twice for
1
/2 cup. Touch the START/+30 SEC pad.
2 Chocolate 1 cup chips

• Touch the More Menus pad then touch the number 2 pad for Chocolate. To select quantity, touch
the number 2 pad once for 1 cup chips or twice for 1 square. Touch the START/+30 SEC pad.
Soften Place food in a microwave-safe dish and DO NOT COVER.
3 Ice cream 1 pint

• Touch the More Menus pad then touch the number 3 pad for Ice Cream. To select quantity, touch
the number 3 pad once for 1 pint or twice for 1.5 quart. Touch the START/+30 SEC pad.
4 Cream cheese 3 oz
8 oz
• Touch the More Menus pad then touch the number 4 pad for Cream Cheese. To select quantity,
touch the number 4 pad once for 3 oz or twice for 8 oz. Touch the START/+30 SEC pad.
Warm Place food in a microwave-safe glass dish and DO NOT COVER.

• Touch the More Menus pad then touch the number 5 pad for Syrup. To select quantity, touch the
number 5 pad once for 0.25 cup or twice for 0.5 cup. Touch the START/+30 SEC pad.
