Below is the historical data for A3 colour MFPs in all of Europe from 2005 to 2014 forecast. The A3 Colour MFP
market has dramatically increased since B to C (Black to Colour) strategy started around 2004-2005.
In 2008, the market more than doubled compared to 2005 (230.1% vs. 2005), and mainly 20-29 cpm category was
growing.
Even though it dropped during the big economic recession in 2009, but only around 4.6%. That shows the
demand of colour was quite strong.
InfoSource forecasted 2-digit increase in 2010, which is 114.8% vs. LY, then 5-6% growth will be expected from
2010 to 2014.
Actually, the market size in 2014 will be around 27% growth compared to 2010, and 20-29 cpm category will still
be the major category, which is around 60% of total category.
