Sharpness / Contrast
MX-5112N / MX-4112N are the models that have the Sharpness / Contrast feature at the time of scanning. Both
modes have five levels (1 to 5). Level 3 is same as Sharpness / Contrast “Off”. When users choose “Sharpness
1”, occurrence of moiré can be reduced. On the other hand, when they choose “Sharpness 5” and/or “Contrast
5”, texts on the image are clearly scanned. Users can set Sharpness and Contrast simultaneously.

Note: “Sharpness 1” of MX-5112N / MX-4112N are almost same as “Moire Reduction” of conventional models.
Therefore, “Moire reduction” is integrated into “Sharpness” from MX-3610N / MX-3110N / MX-2610N.
