Route the fuser fan cable out of the retainers (C), and then remove the fan.

Remove the left cover. See “Left cover removal” on page 308 .
Remove the controller board shield. See “Controller board shield removal” on page 392 .
Remove the inner controller board shield. See “Inner controller board shield removal” on page 393 .
Disconnect the main fan cable (A) from the controller board.
