network scanner function to append a metadata file to a scanned
image file.

The data which is being stored in the hard disk and memory of
this unit is stored in encrypted form.
Furthermore, after copy and print data has been output and after
fax and scanner transmissions, the data is automatically deleted
in order to securely protect important information.
