SERVICE CALL CHECK

PLEASE CHECK THE FOLLOW IN G BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE:
1. Po wer Supply:
Check the po wer plug is properly co nnected to a suitable wall o utlet.
Check the line fuse/ circuit breaker is functio ning pro perly.
2. W hen the do o r is o pened, do es the o ven lamp light? YES NO
3. Place a cup o f water (approx. 1 5 0 ml) in the o ven and clo se the do o r securely.
Set the co o king mode to micro wave co o king mo de.
Pro g ramme the o ven for o ne minute o n full po wer (9 0 0 W ) and start the o ven.
Does the o ven lamp light? YES NO
Does the turntab le ro tate? YES NO
NOTE: The turntable turns in either direction.
Does the ventila tio n wo rk? YES NO
(Place your hand o ver the ventilatio n o penings and check fo r air flow.)
After 1 minute do es the signal so und? YES NO
Does the co o king in prog ress indicator go o ff? YES NO
Is the cup o f water warm after the abo ve o peration? YES NO
4. Set the G RILL co o king mo de using the to p g rill a nd bo tto m grill fo r 3 minutes.
After 3 minutes do bo th G RILL heating elements beco me red? YES NO

If yo u answer “ NO ” to any o f the abo ve questions, call a Service Technician appo inted by SHARP and repo rt the
results o f yo ur check. See inside back co ver for details o f address.
IMPORTANT: If the display sho ws no thing even if the po wer plug is pro perly co nnected, the energy save mo de
sho uld carry o n. To relea se it, o pen and then close the o ven do o r. See pag e 7 .
NOTES:
1. If you co o k the fo od o ver the standard time with o nly the same co o king mo de, the po wer o f the o ven will
lower auto matically to avoid o verhea ting. (The micro wave po wer level will be reduced and the g rill heating
elements will b eg in to light o n and o ff.)
