1 Set the camcorder to TAPE-CAMERA,
DUAL-CAMERA, or CARD-CAMERA
mode.
2 In Recording Standby mode, set the
Manual Selection switch to MANUAL to
display the MANUAL screen.
5 Set the Manual Selection switch to
MANUAL LOCK to lock the selected
White Balance mode.
The camera recording screen is
displayed.
4 Touch [OUTDOOR] or [INDOOR].
The selected White Balance mode is
displayed on the MANUAL screen.

Adjusting the White Balance
Available modes: TAPE-CAMERA, DUAL-
CAMERA, CARD-CAMERA
The colour of the image tends to look different
from that of the actual subject, depending on
the type of lighting source. Select a White
Balance mode option to record a picture in
colours as natural as possible.

Note:
White balance cannot be adjusted when the
SUPER CAT’S EYE switch is set to ON.
AUTO: Colouring adjusted automatically for the
current lighting condition
OUTDOOR: For recording outdoors on a sunny
day
INDOOR: For recording indoors with halogen
lamps or incandescent lighting
LOCK: Fix the setting to the standard balance
(White Balance Lock)
MANUAL: Deliberately change colouring
