ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS - Continued
FASTENING LIFT ARMS
1. Roll the mower toward the tractor,
approximately under the lift arms. Lower and
align the arms with the mount brackets on the
Crossmember Lift Bar.
2. Install the clevis pins (1) thru the mount
brackets and ball sockets in the lift arms, and
retain with
314 flatwashers and hairpin clips.
3. Align the lift link threaded blocks (2) within
their deck brackets and install 5/8 x 2-1/2 clevis
pins (3) and retain with 5/8 SAE flatwashers and
hairpin clips.
CHECKING THE MOWER SERVICE LINKS
Mower service links (4) need to be checked to
see if
their installation fits this mower application.
1. A 3/8-16 x 1-1/4 bolt with a 3/8 flatwasher and
spring are installed through service link. Link
assembly is then installed through the inside of
the tractor frame and retained with a 3/8 locknut.
MC60RD (887738) and MC72RD (887739) :
Both service links are identical.
NOTE:
The service links attach to the rod we on the top
of the lift arms. They are used to hold the deck
up for minor maintenance when the full flip up
position is not required.
CONNECTING DRIVELINE TO TRACTOR PTO
1. Install the driveline (5) to the tractor PTO shaft
by pulling back on the lock collar as it is installed.
Release the lock collar and pull on the shaft to
make sure it is locked to the tractor PTO shaft.
