Ensure the dust collector is close enough to the source and that the ducting doesn't have sharp bends. Confirm that the lumber being processed has less than 20% moisture content. Seal any leaks in the ducting and close unused ports. If the main line velocity is low, open additional branch lines. Verify that ducts and ports are correctly sized. If the machine's dust collection design is inadequate, consider using a dust collection nozzle on a stand. If the dust collector is too small, think about installing a larger one.
