SAFE USE
Here are some general tips to follow for safe use of this product:
Turn up the volume control only far enough to hear properly.
Ringing in the ears may indicate that the volume level is too high. Try lowering
the volume.
If you are connecting these earphones to an airplane's sound system, listen at
low levels so when loud messages from the pilot break into the program you do not
experience discomfort.
Shure recommends that you have your ears checked by an audiologist on a regular
basis. If you experience wax buildup in your ears, stop using the earphones until an
audiologist has examined your ears.
Wipe the earphones with an antiseptic before and after use to avoid infections.
Stop using the earphones if they are causing great discomfort or infection.
WARNING!
USING THESE EARPHONES AT EXCESSIVE VOLUMES
CAN CAUSE PERMANENT HEARING DAMAGE.
USE THE LOWEST VOLUME LEVEL POSSIBLE.
WARNING!
DUE TO THE ISOLATING CHARACTERISTICS OF THESE EARPHONES, DO NOT USE
THEM WHILE DRIVING OR WHILE BIKING, WALKING OR JOGGING WHERE VEHICULAR
TRAFFIC IS PRESENT, OR IN ANY OTHER ACTIVITY WHERE A FAILURE TO HEAR
SURROUNDING SOUNDS COULD BE DANGEROUS.
