To assign a call
to an account
during the call

Press the ACCOUNT key. If you have a display
telephone, ENTER ACCOUNT CODE is
displayed. (If a default account number has
been set up for you at the CBX, ACCT CODE
is displayed, followed by your default account
number. If you want to charge the call to your
default account, you will not need to dial an
account number.)

Dial the account number.
OR

Ask the other party to hold.
➩
Press the TRANSFR key.
You will hear the confirmation tone, followed
by the internal dial tone.

Dial * 2.
You will hear the confirmation tone, followed
by the internal dial tone. If you have a display
telephone, ENTER ACCOUNT CODE is
displayed. (If a default account number has
been set up for you at the CBX, ACCT CODE
is displayed, followed by your default account
number. If you want to charge the call to your
default account, you will not need to dial an
account number.)

Dial the account number.
Listen for the confirmation tone. If you have a
display telephone, STORED is displayed.

Press the CONNECT key to return to the other
party.
