Activate/deactivate tones
* Hold down.
In standby mode
All audible signals (including the
ringtone) can be switched off and on
again. The function ends when the
phone is switched off.
During a call
Switch off the ringtone for the cur-
rent call/alarm (not when Any to an-
swer, p. 71, is active). Accepting or
rejecting the call ends the function.
• The display will continue to show
a call.
• The silent alert function will re-
main active if it was previously
switched on.
• The audio settings are not
changed.
Completing phone numbers in
the Phonebook/Addressbook
Digits may be replaced by a "?" when
phone numbers are entered in the
Phonebook/Addressbook:
* Hold down.
These wildcards must be replaced
with numbers before dialling (e.g.,
with the extension numbers in a
phone system).
To make a call, select the phone
number from the Phonebook/Ad-
dressbook.
A Press.
J
Replace "?" with numbers.
A
Press, number is dialled.
