Answering machine remote operation
The functions of the keys for operating the answering machine remotely are the same
for all telephones, handsets and tone transmitters. This “credit card” shows you how
to perform remote operations on an external telephone (for example from a pay phone
or a hotel phone) and shows you the meanings of the keys.

Initiating remote operation:

Dial your own telephone
number.
You will hear your answer-
ing machine.

Press the key and enter
the system PIN.
Use digit keys to control
the answering machine.
Activating the answering machine:
Let the telephone ring for approx. one
minute.

Enter the system PIN.
The answering machine is
activated.
