Enter the telephone lock PIN (Æ page 47).

To prevent unauthorized persons from using your tele-
phone (Æ page 46) and to use another telephone like
your own (Æ page 59), you need to enter a personal
identification number, which you can save yourself.
Press the key. The LED lights up.
Confirm.

Enter the PIN.
Enter the current five-digit PIN.
If you have not yet assigned a PIN, use the PIN "00000"
the first time you enter it.
Enter the new PIN.
Repeat the new PIN.
While the telephone is locked, a special dial tone
sounds when you lift the handset. You can con-
tinue to dial internal numbers as usual.
Your telephone can also be locked or unlocked
again by an authorized party (Æ page 64).
