6. Wait until the refrigerator is displayed
in the Home Connect app on the
mobile device.
If the refrigerator is not automatically
displayed, first select Search for
domestic appliances and then
Connect domestic appliance in the
Home Connect app.
7. Follow the instructions in the app
until the process is complete.
Refrigerator compartment
temperature display shows Pa and
freezer compartment temperature
display shows On.
The refrigerator is successfully
connected with the app.
If the connection fails, check whether
the mobile device is connected to
the home network (WLAN).
Then try to establish the connection
again.
If Er appears in the freezer
compartment temperature display,
reset the Home Connectsettings.
Note: When resetting, all the Home
Connect settings are reset.
Verify signal strength
You should verify the signal strength if
no connection can be established.
1. Press the “alarm” button.
The refrigerator compartment
temperature display shows Cn.
2. Press refrigerator compartment
select button.
3. Press + button until the refrigerator
compartment temperature display
shows SI. In the freezer
compartment temperature display, a
value appears between 0 (no signal)
and 3 (full signal).
The signal strength should be at
least 2. If the signal strength is too
weak, the connection may be
interrupted.
– Place the router and refrigerator
closer together.
– Ensure that the connection is not
interfered with by screening walls.
– Install a repeater to make the
signal stronger.
Activating the cameras
If the refrigerator is connected to the
home network (WLAN) and to the Home
Connect app, you can activate the
cameras:
1. Press the “alarm” button.
The refrigerator compartment
temperature display shows Cn.
2. Press refrigerator compartment
select button.
3. Keep pressing + button until the
refrigerator compartment
temperature display shows CA and
the freezer compartment
temperature display shows OF.
4. Press freezer compartment select
button.
5. Press the + button.
The freezer compartment
temperature display shows On and
the energy saving mode display
lights up.
The cameras are activated.
Notes
■ If the cameras are activated and the
refrigerator contents are interrogated
frequently via the app, this will result
in increased data transfer.
■ Uploading the photos takes up to
three minutes.
■ Various external factors in the home
network and Internet cause transfer
problems and pictures to be
discarded. This has no effect on the
basic functions of the appliance.
