■ Storing large quantities of fresh food
in the appliance
Switch on super freezing before
storing large quantities of fresh food.
Avoid contact between fresh food and
food that is already frozen.
■ Appliance door is open for a very long
time
Check whether food is thawing or has
thawed. Do not refreeze thawing or
thawed food.
■ The appliance is being heated by a
second refrigerator (side-by-side
installation) or another heat source
Call customer service and ask about
ways of insulating your appliance.
Note
Do not refreeze thawing or thawed food.
Only food that has been cooked to make
a ready-to-eat meal (boiled or fried) may
be refrozen.
These items should no longer be stored
for the maximum storage period.
The temperature display indicates for
5 seconds the warmest temperature
which was reached in the freezer
compartment. The set temperature is
then displayed again.
Switching off the alarm
Press the °C button to switch off the
audible warning signal.
Home Connect
This appliance is WiFi-capable and can
be remotely controlled using a mobile
device.
Note
Wi-Fi is a registered trademark of the Wi-
Fi Alliance.
If the appliance is not connected to the
home network (WiFi), the appliance
functions like a refrigerator without a
network connection, and can still be
manually operated via the controls.
In order to use the Home Connect
functions, connect the appliance to a
Home Connect WiFi dongle.
If a Home Connect WiFi dongle is not
supplied with your appliance, you can
order one from customer service.
Note
Inserting and removing the plug on the
rear side of the appliance is more difficult
than expected. Ensure that the plug is
completely plugged in.
Attach the Home ConnectWiFi dongle at
a height of 1 metre.
Notes
■ Please observe the safety instructions
and warnings in this user manual.
Ensure that these are also adhered to
when you are operating the appliance
using the Home Connect app and are
not at home.
You must also follow the instructions
in the Home Connect app.
■ Operation on the appliance always
has priority over operation via the
Home Connect app. During this time it
is not possible to operate the
appliance using the app.
