Fault Cause Troubleshooting
The base of the refrigerator
compartment is wet.
The condensation channel
or drainage hole are
blocked.
"Clean the condensation channel
and the drainage hole." →Page21
The temperature differs
greatly from the setting.
Different causes are pos-
sible.
1. "Switch off the appliance."

2. "Switch the appliance back on after
fiveminutes." →Page15
If the temperature is too
warm, check the temperature
again after a couple of hours.
If the temperature is too cold,
check the temperature again
on the following day.
The appliance hums,
bubbles, buzzes, gargles or
clicks.
Not a fault. A motor is run-
ning, e.g. refrigerating unit,
fan. Refrigerant flows
through the pipes. The mo-
tor, switches or solenoid
valves are switching on or
off.
No action required.
The appliance makes
noises.
Fittings wobble or stick.
Check the removable fittings and, if
required, replace these.
Bottles or containers are
touching.
Move the bottles or containers
away from each other.
Super function is switched
on.
No action required.
The appliance has an un-
pleasant smell.
Various causes are possible,
e. g. spoiled food or spilled li-
quids in the appliance.
1. Dispose of all spoiled food.
2. "Prepare the appliance for clean-

4. Clean all food packaging.
5. To prevent odours from forming,
store strong smelling food in air-
tight containers.
6. After 24hours, check whether
odours are still forming.
