Description of procedure:
D I A G N O S I S
Visually check the status of the IrDa module. Watch for dry solder joints.
Use a reference infrared port (eg. from a notebook) to check the IrDa
function. If the notebook recognizes the S35, the infrared function is ok.
R E P A I R B Y C O M P O N E N T C H A N G E
Use hot air to remove defective infrared module.
Avoid excessive heat!
Watch surrounding components!!
Resolder new module afterwards
