1 . Bundle high voltage (120 VAC) wires separately from low voltage (12 or 24 VDC)
signals. Service power, load switch wires to signal heads, etc., should never be
bundled with I/0 wires connected to the EPAC M50-Series I/O wires or to the
communications wires.
2. Route the high voltage bundles away from the low voltage bundles. A good
practice is to bring all high voltage wires in from the left, and low voltage from
the right, or vice versa.
3. Separate electrical noise sources (such as sparking contacts of mechanical
relays) from low-voltage bundles.
