SIMOTION D4x5‑2 can be used under the following ambient conditions:

Biological ambient conditions: ● Class 3B1 according to EN 60721‑3‑3:1995;
Mold,
mold growth, slime, rodents, termites, and other animal

Permitted mounting positions
The following mounting positions are permitted:

vertical installation (preferred standard mounting position)
● lying on back (e.g. for applications in which the installation situation makes a low installation
height necessary)
